What is Form W-2?

How do I file W-2 forms?
Forms for W-2, as well as the W-3 form, should be sent to SSA by Jan. 31 of the following year. The deadline for distributing W-2 forms to employees is January. 31. The form W-3 transmits information to the SSA. It combines all the information on W-2 Forms into a single total.
